Hair Trouble

Rob and I were sitting in the living room tonight, just hanging out and whatever when in trots Reese with a brush in her hand.  "Can I do your hair, mom?" she asked.  I said okay so she climbed up behind me and started doing my hair.  Rob and I kept talking and mostly ignored her until a minute later when Reese climbed into my lap with a big lock of hair in her little hand.  "I cut your hair mom," she announced proudly.

For any of you who don't know this comes four months after she chopped off every scrap of her own hair, leaving her looking like a very cute little boy.  So it's not like we haven't had the conversation about what she is allowed to use scissors for.  Good grief.  Please tell me this is just a phase and we don't really need to throw out every pair of scissors in our house.  And for heaven's sakes, if Reese asks to do your hair do yourself a favor and tell her no.

  1. Gosh guys, guess you better put her in beauty school when she gets older. Hope it wasn't too bad shell.

  2. I say to hide every pair of scissors in your house. Hide them good, where the novice beautician can't find a one! How does your hair look, Shell?
