Labor Day

We went up Big Cottonwood Canyon for Labor Day. Reese had a ball collecting rocks, picking flowers (which I'm not positive, but I think might be illegal...), chasing ducks, and watching the fish from the dock.

Baby Kyle

Kyle is a week old today! He was born on the 10th weighed 7 lbs 6 oz and was 20 and 1/2 inches long. What a sweet baby!

Reese is super excited. She loves her baby brother. A lot. I'm not sure if Kyle loves her back. She showed up in our bedroom at 4:30 AM the other morning just to give him cuddles and kisses. Poor Kyle is in for it...

Reese at the Beach

So, Reese got her first haircut on Wednesday. The funniest thing I have ever seen. We went to Cookie Cutters and they set her up in a little princess chair and put Dora on TV for her. She was too terrified to move a muscle. I was talking to a guy at the counter when I heard her start to wimper. I looked over and she had her eyes pinched shut, lower lip stuck out in a pout, and big tears rolling down her cheecks. I wish I'd brought the camara!!! The whole cut took less than two minutes (poor kid doesn't have much to cut) and she was all smiles when she walked out with a balloon and sucker. :)
